Aqualand

Fun for all the family, the park is located in El Puerto de Santa Maria, a 35 minute drive away. For the 2010 season, the park is open from June 14th to September 5th.

Boat Trips

Various boat trips are available, including one to the island of Sancti Petri across the bay from the town. Here you will find a lighthouse and a castle which was built on the ruins of a temple to Zeus. Pick up the boats from the marina in Sancti petri.

Beaches

There are glorious beaches all down the coast, La barossa beach is the nearest with wide sandy stretch as fas as the eye can see. There is a promenade where you can sit and watch the world go by.

Other beaches worth a visit are Zahara de los Atunes (30 mins) as well as Bolonia (40 mins) where you can also visit the ruins of a Roman city.

Go Karting

A go karting track is less than 1km away on the road to El Colorado.

Water sports

All sorts of water sport are available, with a school located in Sancti Petri (opposite the marina).
